I Asked Myself

I asked myself a question what is pyramid? I search on INTERNET about Pyramid. Wikipedia show me Pyramid results. Now I am sharing information with you. Pyramid is a building where the outer surfaces are triangular and converge at a point. The base of a pyramid can be trilateral, quadrilateral, or any polygon shape, meaning that a pyramid has at least four faces (base plus at least three triangular faces). The five-face square pyramid is a common version.

Egyptian pyramids
The Egyptian pyramids are ancient pyramid-shaped masonry structures located in Egypt.
In Egypt 2008, 138 pyramids discovered. Most were built as tombs for the country's Pharaohs and their consorts during the Old and Middle Kingdom periods.

The earliest known Egyptian pyramid is the Pyramid of Djoser which was built during the third dynasty. This pyramid and its surrounding complex were designed by the architect Imhotep, and are generally considered to be the world's oldest monumental structures constructed of dressed masonry.

The best known Egyptian pyramids are those found at Giza, on the outskirts of Cairo. Several of the Giza pyramids are counted among the largest structures ever built.
The Pyramid of Khufu at Giza is the largest Egyptian pyramid. It is the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still in existence.

Education In My Country

My country “Egypt” has the largest education system in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and it has grown rapidly since 1990.Recentally Govt. of Egypt has accorded even great priority in improving the education and education system.

According to the Human Development Index (HDI),Egypt is ranked 116 in the HDI. With the help of World Bank and other multilateral organizations Egypt aims to increase access in early childhood care and education and the inclusion of ICT at all levels of education, especially at the tertiary level. The government is responsible for offering free education at all levels. The current overall expenditure on education is about 12.6 percent as of 2007. Investment in education as a percentage of GDP rose to 4.8 in 2005 but then fell to 3.7 in 2007. The Ministry of education is also tackling with a number of issues: trying to move from a highly centralized system to offering more autonomy to individual institutions, thereby increasing accountability.

In education, the personnel management needs to be overhauled and teachers should be hired on merit with salaries attached to the performance.
